A temporary fix has been implemented, and the original errors are unable to be reproduced at this time. Users should be able to search without error messages, and enter item records.

Investigating
Some users may get a "the search failed due to a system error" when trying to search for an item in the catalog, and may have issues entering specific item records.
The issue appears to be intermittent, and a temporary workaround appears to be reloading the page or trying on a separate device.
Our teams are investigating the root cause and will post updates when they're available.
